Selling the Home

All the craziness that goes into getting a home ready to sell is pretty much done. I thought I would lose my mind for a moment there, but I did survive the contractors, cleaning and packing up all done in less than a week window! Whew!

We did the VR tour photos, which will go up next week. I am just too tired to show the house this weekend after collapsing from the hectic rush. I think Circe is a bit stressed about it all too… So after the photo people left, I started to put things back (Circe Crate, etc…) then decided to make my own video of the old homestead for posterity. I will miss my home, but life moves on…

Here is the video.

Leaving Home

UPDATE…

The house went up for sale and sold within five days. So, now we are in the inspection and escrow phase. This means I have to really start hustling on getting a new place, job and road map planned….My life just feels like a whirlwind of things to do. I am surprised at how much I have actually got done in a short period of time. The universe is really testing me on timing…..

It is funny how when you look backwards everything looks better. I am thinking how I will miss this area. It is beautiful being in the hills yet close to town. I am about two miles from most things I use regularly. I can run to the chiropractor, grocery store, bank, gym, Petco and various other coffee and food places. This area has been convenient for me in many ways, except for jobs or entertainment. Unfortunately, two big items on my top ten list.

Now it is on to a new place and I have been reconsidering where I have been looking after reminiscing about this area. Having some convenience is nice. I like to be within biking distance (at least) of some things.
