Exploring (September 19 – 25, 2022)

Before I get into my wanderings this week I want to show a couple of my camera videos I thought were interesting and amusing….

First one here just cracks me up. Circe was going her usual bark/cry/whine crazy when I checked the camera to see what was up. Seems on Circe’s freedom run she really enchanted the neighbors dog. I saw these two glowing eyes coming up the stairs and, well, here you can see….

Looking for a date…..

The next to recordings seem to be of some ghostly apparition from the forest….

Haven’t a clue……?

Beyond being amused with my new surveillance equipment, I decided to do a little recon on the woods to the left of the house to check out the shroud in the forest. The owner’s got married in the woods here and left the altar out in the woods. They had dried flowers and all, but all that has since disintegrated into dust.

The Woods

Circe and I went up the road the other way and found a camp, mostly for RVs, but it was interesting. They had all these farm equipment art objects in front. I haven’t a clue of what this has to do with camping, but hey….. Here is what we found. Oh, I also saw this field of round hay bales. They do it differently here. I have only seen square bales in CA. We had to scale a large ditch and climb through a hedge, but the field was worth it, really beautiful…..picturesque.

On the way to Montpelier, I saw this church that had a rather unique service offering…. I wonder if you can get fries with that….

So, yes, I took a ride out to Montpelier. Interesting fact is Montpelier is the name of James Madison’s (yes, Dolly’s husband and namesake for little cakes) home. Fourth president of the United States and founding father. His house is somewhere here in town. I will have to find it and take another video. This is a nice town and it is on the road to Richmond.

I wanted to get some pictures of the amazing farms and houses, but there just isn’t anywhere to stop on the side of the road. Everything is a two lane road out here. Today was busy on the roads also. However, I did stop and take a vid of this wonderful church. I have to say there were a vast number of churches along this stretch. Every denomination and type were represented at least twice if not more.

HOUSE HUNTING…..LOL πŸ˜‰
